How the fee is calculated
Deterministically, in integer minor units, with the currency recorded on every record. Never in floating point, and never inferred from an order row after the fact.

Refunds return the fee
Refund an order in full and the whole platform fee comes back. Refund part of it and the fee is prorated. You are never left paying us for a sale you did not keep.
Not charged on tax
The fee is taken on the pre-tax subtotal wherever the payment provider allows it to be calculated that way, so you are not paying a percentage of somebody else's VAT.
You hold the money
You are the payee on every order. Funds settle to your Stripe or PayPal account on your provider's normal schedule; our 2% is collected as a platform fee rather than routed through us.
Straight answers
What do I pay in a month with no sales?
Nothing. The store stays up, your catalog stays intact, and you are not billed.
Are any features held back for a higher tier?
No. Delivery automation, refund revocation, the audit log, exports, staff accounts and integration health are all included at 2%. If a paid operator tier ever exists, the transaction fee stays 2% and we will say plainly what moves.
What about chargebacks and disputes?
Disputes are between you and your payment provider, on your own account, at their fee schedule. GNC reverses the delivery side — the entitlement, the Discord role, the in-game grant — and returns its own fee.
Who is the seller of record?
You are. Your legal identity appears on the store and on every order, and buyers contract with you. GNC provides the infrastructure. What that means
